FOUNDERS DAY

Headwaters Corvette Club celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2025 with a ride to Copper Peak in Ishpeming, Michigan on August 3rd.  We started in Eagle River and took back roads to Bessemer, MI for lunch and then on to Copper Peak.  Several took the chair lift to the base of the ski jump and then the elevator to the observation deck 18 stories above the ground.  A few hardy members walked the last 6 stories to the top of the slide, which will reopen to competition in 2026.  Then it was back on the road to the Wild Turkey (formerly Tippler's) in Conover where the club was formed back in 2000.  Conover is near Land 'O Lakes which is the source of the Wisconsin River, (i.e. Headwaters from which the club got its name).
